Integrated Construction Skills (5 weeks)

In conjunction with learning trade skills and getting the skills to apply for Apprenticeships, this program will communicate what it takes to be a General Construction Field Engineer, Project Manager, Site Supervisor, and Safety Technician, giving student both the insight and understanding to equip them for successful communication, as well as how to attain those opportunities, if interested. This program is not only designed to prepare students for the technical skills of the trades, but is also designed for work readiness, conflict resolution and leadership topics so students will have the skills necessary to both gain employment and continue to be successful in the workplace. Employer interviews and workshop assessments will be performed during the last week of this program.
